Twitter uses CNN and Wapo to fact check president Trump’s Election Fraud Tweet. In a move that any left-winger websites might try when the going’s getting tough, Twitter turns to CNN for help with disastrous results. Trump retaliates along with help from his army of supporters! ?
Update 05/28/20: President Trump is expected to sign an executive order today to revoke social media immunity from content posted to their platforms. On Twitter the president is being urged to move to the Parler social media platform. Last year this was suggested but the site had problems handling the increased traffic. My updated Parler review is posted on the archive blog.
Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom earlier this month signed an executive order for every registered voter to receive mail-in ballots for the November 2020 general election.
There is NO WAY (ZERO!) that Mail-In Ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent. Mail boxes will be robbed, ballots will be forged & even illegally printed out & fraudulently signed. The Governor of California is sending Ballots to millions of people, anyone living in the state, no matter who they are or how they got there, will get one,” President Trump tweeted in a two-tweet series. “That will be followed up with professionals telling all of these people, many of whom have never even thought of voting before, how, and for whom, to vote. This will be a Rigged Election!
Twitter plastered a message on both of Trump’s tweets that says “Get the facts about mail-in ballots.” That message links to this page that pushes back against the president’s assertions.
Personally I think Jack whipped out his Johnson and stomped the living hell out of it, as the whole Twitter-sphere watched. According to Fox News, the Twitter exec in charge of effort to fact-check President Trump has history of anti-Trump posts, called Mich McConnell a ‘bag of farts’!
Twitter’s “Head of Site Integrity” Yoel Roth boasts on his LinkedIn that he is in charge of “developing and enforcing Twitter’s rules,” like the one that led Twitter to slap a new “misleading” warning label on two of President Trump’s tweets concerning mail-in balloting on Tuesday.
Many have pointed out that Twitter along with Facebook are private companies that can not be enforced by executive order. BUT they are offered many protections that may come under fire by taking political sides. Big daddy Google however may soon find itself in antitrust trouble.
